Welcome to the Intsilo Learning Portal, the learning platform owned and operated by Intsilo Ltd.  Our mission is to provide training and resources that help micro and small business owners in the UK understand the broad issues of climate change, sustainability, carbon footprinting and adaptation.   The modules we offer cover:

  • Climate change -  what is it, how it impacts the environment, humanity and commerce
  • Sustainablity - how sustainability could shape the operating environment for small businesses including: drivers of emissions, carbon footprints, energy solutions, potential pitfalls, mitigation
  • Carbon neutrality - explore, in detail, some of the key concepts of sustainability including: net zero, carbon neutrality, the circular economy, international standards, the UK government's Net Zero plan, creating an organisational climate change strategy
  • Carbon footprinting: we'll show you how to create and maintain a carbon footprint for your business and a carbon declaration documentation you can use to demonstrate you sustainability efforts and plans.  You'll have access to a carbon footprint calculator, template carbon declaration and detailed guidance.  One of the Intsilo consultants will provide written feedback on your calculations and your carbon declaration document.
  • Carbon neutral to net zero - ?

Each module contains videos, quizzes and additional support material that learns work through at their own pace.  There's no software to install.  All you need is an internet connection and a modern browser.

Access to the Intsilo courses are sold as bundles of 'seats' so you and your staff or co-workers can acces the training material.  We think it's important that everyone in your organisation has the opportunity to understand climate change and the threats and opportunities it creates for your business.
